Gretools is a vocabulary building tool for GNOME. Gretools is a vocabulary building tool for GNOME. It is a fun and efficient way to learn words. It uses a modified version of Sungwoo Park's wordlist having about 4000 words. Gretools consists of a synonym quiz, a word guessing game and a word browser. It automatically remembers the words you had difficulty with and lets you revise them. You can set a filter to restrict the space of words to practice on.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
